Entire Herd women’s golf team named Academic All-American scholars

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Marshall Women’s Golf had all six of its team members named as Academic All-American Scholars by the Women’s Golf Coaches Association this week.
Those five players were seniors Abbey Bull and Olivia Kochan, juniors Maddi Hudson, Taylor Sargent and Madison Borders and sophomore Savannah Hawkins.
Those honored as WGCA Academic All-American Scholars had to have an overall cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher, be an amateur and on the team’s roster through the conclusion of the team’s season and have played in 50 percent of regularly-scheduled competitive rounds during the year nominated.
These six players paved the way for Marshall Women’s Golf to lead all Marshall Athletics programs in Team GPA for the second straight year.
Marshall Women’s Golf finished the 2025-26 school year with a 3.92 Team GPA.
