RONCEVERTE, W.Va. — After the polls close tonight, tune into RealWV’s Facebook page for live election results from local, state, and federal races involving West Virginia candidates.
Major questions looming include: Will Republicans widen their supermajorities in the House and Senate? Or will Democrats be able to gain seats? If so, how many? How will those races affect the balance of power in leadership races, as coalitions partner together? Will candidates supported by Gov. Morrisey be able to pull out victories, strengthening his legislative agenda? As Democrats are expected to make gains federally, will those gains be felt at all in West Virginia’s congressional races? Will the state ballot initiative related to voting prevail?
RealWV will go live with real-time election results after polls close and throughout the night, depending on how quickly results begin to roll in from the state’s 55 counties. Expect multiple live videos at the top of the hour from at least 9pm through 11pm. Unofficial election results will also be printed the following day.
