‘RetroFest’ returns to downtown Charleston for fourth year

CHARLESTON, W.Va. – Bring on the nostalgia! The fourth annual RetroFest will be held on Saturday, July 26, from 11 AM-10 PM at City Center at Slack Plaza, 182 Summers Street, in downtown Charleston.

“We are excited to announce that RetroFest is back and better than ever,” says Joe “JK the DJ” Kerner, event organizer and host. “We’ve got a stacked lineup of music, vendors, food and drink options and all day entertainment. This is going to be a day to remember, and it’s all for a good cause. So, come on out and celebrate music, art and community with us!” 

RetroFest is a family-friendly event that is free to attend. Profits raised will go towards supporting the RetroFest Foundation’s community arts and scholarship programs, including education and youth engagement initiatives. 

1980s rock tribute act, Hair Supply, is headlining the event and will perform at 7:30 PM. Other entertainers include Comedy Magician Joey Stepp, stiltwalker KiriA, dynamic flow artist and aerialist Cozmic Wonderlan, one man groove machine Wirejam, three-piece pop/rock band Analog Boy and solo artist Lee Dean. A variety of food and retail vendors will also be on-site, and there will be games, giveaways and contests held throughout the day.
