Carnegie Hall offers paper quilled spring flower worship

PRESS RELEASE

Lewisburg, WV – Carnegie Hall invites students, families, and creative community members to welcome the season with Paper Quilled Spring Flowers, a beginner‑friendly workshop led by artist and instructor Teri Hartford on Saturday, April 18, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. This joyful, hands‑on class introduces participants to the delicate and expressive art of paper quilling—an accessible craft with centuries‑old roots.

Quilling uses thin strips of paper that are rolled, shaped, and arranged to form intricate designs. In this spring‑themed workshop, students will learn a simple, step‑by‑step process to create their own one‑of‑a‑kind floral composition. Each finished piece will be mounted on cardstock, ready to take home and frame as a bright seasonal keepsake or handmade gift.

Open to ages 12 and older, the class welcomes all skill levels, from first‑time makers to returning craft enthusiasts. With a maximum class size of 12, participants will enjoy a relaxed, supportive environment with plenty of individual guidance. All supplies and materials are included, making this an easy and inspiring way to explore a new art form.

Registration is $25 per person, and early sign‑ups are encouraged due to the workshop’s limited capacity and strong community interest in hands‑on spring arts programming.

Carnegie Hall is proud to continue offering creative opportunities that celebrate craftsmanship, curiosity, and the joy of making something beautiful by hand.
