Tracy Kincaid

For 14 years, Tracy Kincaid has been connecting people with pets as the Rescue Coordinator for Greenbrier Humane Society. She builds relationships with rescue organizations across the region to give dogs and cats every possible chance at a good life.

But that’s just the start of what she does. She is hands-on and involved with every aspect of animal care at the Greenbrier Humane Society. She knows every animal’s name, their habits, their medical information, and their personality. She gives her whole heart to the animals every single day, working tirelessly to ensure they can find the best possible forever home.

Greenbrier Humane Society achieved a 91% save rate for their animals in 2024, leading to gaining coveted status as a “no kill” shelter earlier this year. Tracy is surely a huge part of that effort, saving countless lives over the years.

For her unyielding commitment to four-legged friends across the Greenbrier Valley, we are proud to name Tracy Kincaid at the certified Real West Virginian of the Week.
