Pam & Rusty Arnold

This is a unique photo of Pam & Rusty Arnold, because they rarely sit still long enough for anyone to snap a picture! Not only do they operate Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home, which was founded by Pam’s dad, Bill Wallace, in multiple locations including Ronceverte, Lewisburg, White Sulphur, Abovale, Rainelle, & Ansted, but they are also involved in the community in numerous ways.

From the Special Olympics to the Ronceverte Library and many more stops in between, they are a couple that give back to their community with their resources and, more importantly, their time. They both always have a smile, a handshake, or a hug for families who are grieving and children who are celebrating.

As active members of the Ronceverte Lions Club, they have helped organized youth basketball games (and maintained the building) for years in the old Ronceverte Junior High gymnasium. Hundreds of children play from across the region each year as a way to learn the game and exercise in the winter. They work with a team of volunteers, but they are in many ways the glue that keeps the youth league together.

For their positive, consistent, and joyful community leadership, we are proud to name Pam & Rusty Arnold as the certified Real West Virginians of the Week.
